Things To Do & See
Punta Sur
As Mexico’s easternmost point, the island's southern tip is a must-visit for breathtaking sunrises and panoramic ocean views. This scenic spot features dramatic cliffs overlooking the Caribbean, ancient Mayan ruins, and the iconic Goddess Ixchel statue. Snorkeling
Explore vibrant coral reefs and aquatic life at Garrafon de Castilla (small admission fee) or free in front of Mia Reef to the right of the pier.
Pickleball Courts
For a bit of active fun, head to one of the island’s two pickleball courts! This is a great way to stay active, meet fellow travelers, and enjoy some friendly competition under the tropical sun. Play time is 7:30-10am every day.
Seaside Walk
Stroll along a beautiful seaside pathway above the cliffs with views of the Caribbean ocean. It’s a scenic, peaceful way to take in the ocean breezes and see local life unfold along the shore.
Statue Path

For those looking to lounge by the beach with great food and drinks. Tuturreque is a favourite for its delicious food and laid-back vibe, with music that stays pleasantly in the background. If you're down on the south end, Kin Ha is a popular choice with decent food and a feature pool with scenic views. For a more lively atmosphere, Guru is the go-to spot, especially on weekends when it transforms into a party scene with a live DJ and an upbeat crowd. Whether you're seeking relaxation or a bit of excitement, there’s a beach club for every mood.
Snorkeling, Diving, and Fishing
Seahawk Divers is our recommendation. They are very experienced and professional and take safety very seriously. They’re a family run business and have been on the island for almost 30 years. They know their stuff!
